Where is Uganda?

Located on the equator in East Africa, Uganda is 41.5 times smaller than Canada, with over 2 more million people living there.

Uganda, abundant with beautiful wildlife and scenery, is filled with even more beautiful people. Its culture teaches Canadians the true meaning of hospitality (and even more ways of saying, "Sorry"!). Its traffic teaches us the true meaning of patience. Its people teaches us how to show God's love and compassion.

English-speaking in the major parts of the country (like Kampala, the capital city, and Entebbe and Jinja, other major cities), it is usually easy to communicate with locals. Boda bodas (motorcycle taxis) and taxis abound in every direction, but be sure to know where you're going, because chances are your driver doesn't!
